Human Resources Manager | Raytheon | Pasadena, CA
Job Description:
Serve as HR Manager, managing the HR and staffing functions for an IT
business area of Raytheon supporting two California sites, located in
Pasadena and Mountain View.
Typical duties include the following:
- Interpret and administer the the company's policies and procedures to
provide counsel and assistance to employees and leadership on a variety
of issues.
- Research, investigate, document and report employee relations issues.
- Study, prepare for, and advise on HR matters in response to management
and employee inquiries.
- Develop and/or modify a diversity plan that supports the organization's
business objectives; develop and implement affirmative action plan and
programs consistent with the goals and objectives of the company
diversity plan.
- Coordinate compensation, HRMS, and training and development programs.
- Develop and deploy HR programs that address retention, compensation,
performance, and other appropriate topics.
- Supervise 1-2 HR team professionals.
Required Skills :
Bachelor's degree and 6+ years human resources generalist experience,
preferably in a government contracting environment. Experience must
include 2+ years recruiting/staffing. Must be knowledgeable of Federal,
state and local laws related to human resources and employment.
Experience should demonstrate solid generalist capabilities in 2 or more
of the following areas: compensation, benefits, performance management,
EEO/AA, diversity, learning, HRIS, employee relations and organizational
effectiveness. Must be able to travel 10-15%, as needed.
Desired Skills:
Master's degree preferred. SHRM certification (SPHR, PHR) is helpful.
